Our unique process was created with you in mind! From the initial idea to the final touch-up, we want to make this process as smooth as possible for our clients. Our process aims to align your needs, timetables, and budgets to fulfill your vision. Keep scrolling to learn more!
At our First Meeting we will:

Listen to what you like and don't like about your current home.

Listen to your goals, needs, and desires for the upcoming remodel.

Discuss remodel or design possibilities.
-
Complete a field sketch and gather more detailed measurements of the existing space.

Photography of all areas in scope of work.
-
Discuss your desired investment and comfort zone.

Read through and execute Design & Project Development Agreement
-
Required fee for Design and Project Development Agreement is typically 1-2% of the high end of the established budget range
-
Once the Design & Project Development Agreement has been approved, we will have our second meeting, which will include:
-
Presentation of layouts, 3D renderings and design concepts at our office
-
Discover likely material choices
-
Ensure direction of design is in line with client expectations and discuss design changes.
During our third meeting, we will:
-
Present revised design concepts and investment ranges based on design.
-
Discuss any desired design changes or updates that may be required.
-
Schedule a meeting to review revised design concept, if necessary. (Note: The Design and Project Development Agreement includes one design revision.)

When the home remodel design is complete to your satisfaction, we will discuss and execute the Final Design and Selections Agreement.

Required fee for Final Design and Selections Agreement is typically 3-5% of agreed upon investment.
Once Final Design and Selections Agreement is executed, the following will take place:

We prepare a shopping list (what we call our ‘Customer Selection Sheet’) for you of all items that need to be selected.

Work alongside us and our vendor partners to make product and material selections.
-
Help you decide on appropriate colors. We will assist with color coordination and design aesthetics to ensure a cohesive design as we mix the old with the new.

Keep track of all selections made to ensure that your design style is consistent and that we are creating the picture that you want.
Related to Design and Project Development:

We will finalize all drawings needed for permitting and Production of your home remodel.

We will compile all trade, vendor and contract bids to update for the final estimate.
-
We will complete the final specifications and incorporate into the final design.
-
We will prepare plans for contract review.
At this closing meeting, we will:

Review and sign off on final construction proposal, contract plans, and specifications.

Collect initial down payment
Before we start actual construction, we will:
-
Apply for the building permit and release all purchase orders to all vendors.
-
Prepare the construction packet and schedule the pre-construction team meeting.
-
The Project Manager will be in contact via email to provide scheduling updates.
At this meeting, we will:
-
Introduce you to the Project Manager and review the home remodel project on-site.
-
Ask a series of questions regarding general housekeeping issues to ensure your safety and security during construction.

Review construction schedule.
During construction, we will:
-
Update you on work that is being performed.
-
Meet with you to address any concerns and questions that may arise during construction.
-
Update you on changes to the schedule that may occur.
-
Update you on any changes that may require cost increases or credits due to changes in scope of work.

Utilize our detailed checklist during each phase of construction to ensure that your project is complete with accuracy and to the highest level of quality.

During production, we welcome your feedback to ensure the best experience possible. We want to make sure that your home remodel story a great one!
After the construction and production on your remodel project is complete, we will:

Review ‘How-To’ and Use of all new features.
-
Review product care and maintenance.
-
Review Home Warranty.
